motorhome stops – Slovenia

I am Slovene and I live in Bled. In general Slovenia is motorhome friendly and the above link is good and there are aires in our country. However, there are some places where you should go to a campsite – Bled, Bohinj, Ljubljana, Portoro?… There are a lot of good campsites. During the summer there can be a lot of traffic on motorways because we are a transit country but it rarely gets very bad.
In summer information about traffic is published on this site

Continental EHU Reverse Polarity Adaptor

I’m sure this must have been said before, but with AC (Alternating Current) the live and neutral swap round 50 times a second in the UK (50 hertz) so any 240v electrical equipment really doesn’t care if the tester says ‘reversed polarity’
The only issue would be a short or lack of earth.

Help, Advice and information needed please

Gas bottle changes are a nightmare abroad as every country has it’s own system, so that needs to be sorted before you go, either, if you are ‘handy’ buying regulators etc in the country you stop in so you can buy locally or having a refillable LPG system of some sort. Agree with a previous post that the ‘europebycamper’ website is invaluable mine of information….. the internet at it’s best.

Which is the cheapest ?

Thanks for the replies I WILL keep my eyes peeled

Weather

Was considering France for 12 days. But going to cancel unless the weather books up.

Camos 40 reception problems

The main advantage of the Pace Javelin box is that you get the full 7 day programme guide, which is usually lacking on other than Sky receivers. The other advantage is that you can use your Sky card from home to get all your subscribed channels, other than the premium channels such as Sports and Movies.

The disadvantage is that it is not as sensitive as the more recent free to air receivers which do pick up channels which the Pace box might not.

Of course you can use a more recent Sky …

camperstop 2012 or keep 2009

I would hang on to what you have. Think how many campsites have closed since that book was produced 0.5%?? You MIGHT come across one that is no longer operating but the VAST majority in your book will still be going strong.
